DOUBLE crosshead is a spacer for 1 and 3 mm joints in a bag of 300 units.
Characteristics:
Available in two versions: for 1 and 3 mm joints (gray) and for 2 and 5 mm joints (red). DOUBLE have been designed to make joints of two different widths: two sides make one joint width and the other two another different width. DOUBLE is therefore “multi joint” as well as recoverable and reusable. In accordance with the advice of the UNI 11493-1* standard that defines the correct method of tiling with ceramic materials, we have developed the DOUBLE double-width spacer for joints, which can be easily recovered after use. The separator can be dismantled without damage, therefore DOUBLE is theoretically reusable to infinity. It works supported on the tile, leaving most of it free, so its removal is very easy. Its generous dimensions (37x37 mm) mean that it can be picked up easily, both for placement and removal, making it very quick to use. The wide difference in widths in the same separator makes them easy to distinguish. Once inserted, DOUBLE has a large support surface between the tiles, guaranteeing perfect alignment and a joint of exact width. To make its use more functional, especially in large formats, we have designed DOUBLE to work on the sides of the tiles and not at the intersections. One of the two faces of DOUBLE is completely flat, to be used on the edge of the pavement or in corners (in this case it joins tiles at 90º to each other). A peculiarity that is appreciated when placing it on walls. DOUBLE is manufactured with a type of plastic that prevents the adhesive cement from adhering to the separator. It comes in a comfortable closed bucket that allows you to store the product after use.
