Key Details
Brand: BONERVA
Instructions for use:
- Find the right place: It is important to place them in the right place. Porous hose belongs to garden beds.
- Start at the Tap: Attach a backflow prevention device to your Tap first. Then set a timer to regulate the amount of water each time. If possible, connect a pressure regulator to a maximum of 1 bar before connecting the hose.
- Too much length is wrong: The maximum effective length is 30 meters. Use a garden hose to connect your porous hose to the Tap.
- Keep it level: Porous hoses do not allow water to seep effectively on slopes or in vertical positions such as rockeries.
- Use correct spacing: Lines 300-450 mm apart on sandy soil and 400-600 mm on loam or clay soil. Keep it at least 25-50 mm from the base of established plants.
- Reduce the flow rate: Try opening it a quarter turn first and adjust it up or down as needed.
- Perfect your timing: Start by running the hose for about 30 minutes twice a week. After a day of watering, check the soil to see if moisture has penetrated. Use a timer to water the same number of minutes each time.
