EMAC NOVOPILASTRA Black Gloss Aluminum Profile

Profile made of anodized or lacquered aluminum from the NOVOPILASTRA series by EMAC designed to be installed as a corner guard to protect and decorate edges of walls covered with ceramic tiles, avoiding miter joints. Its cross geometry creates a modern and innovative visual effect of straight lines. This profile integrates perfectly into the installation and is easy to clean.

Applications:

• The Novopilastra® profile is designed primarily for installation as a trim for vertical edges in ceramic installations.
• As an alternative, it is also an excellent option as an edge trim for horizontal bench edges.

• 6063 Alloy (L-3441/38-337).
• Fire resistance M0 (UNE 23-727-90).
• Abrasion resistance*: Very good.

Materials:

• Novopilastra® is a profile manufactured by aluminum extrusion. The anodized finishes improve its corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and appearance through the process.

• Anodizing has the Qualanod quality seal, which guarantees the quality of the process and the resulting profiles. This seal regulates appearance and color tests, thickness measurements, sealing and impregnation control, abrasion resistance, lightfastness, acetic salt spray chamber, and immersion in nitric acid.

• The lacquered finish has a homogeneous and high-quality surface. The lacquer has the quality seal
  Qualicoat, which guarantees the quality of the process and the final products.
• Aluminum is a material with excellent chemical and physical-mechanical properties. It is light, tough, ductile, malleable, and highly durable.

Installation:

1. Spread gripping material on the edge area where you will place the profile.
2. Place the profile on the edge, aligning it with both sides. Press to make contact with
the gripping material, ensuring it adheres well.
3. Place the tiles on the fixing flange, aligning them with the visible face of the profile.
4. Continue with the wall cladding.
5. Finally, clean the leftover material and let it dry.

Cleaning and maintenance:

• Cleaning should be done periodically with a soft cloth. If a neutral cleaning liquid is used, it should be rinsed with cold water and dried to remove excess moisture. Persistent dirt can be removed with slightly abrasive suitable cleaning agents.
• In all cases, the use of steel wool, abrasive or stripping products, as well as strong acids, strong bases, or carbonated solutions, is contraindicated.
